The meeting will be conducted using the Nansen dialogue method, which will also introduce you to a new method of building trust within a group.

What is dialogue?
Dialogue is a process of genuine interaction in which people listen to each other carefully enough that what they learn changes them. Each person makes a sincere effort to incorporate the concerns of others into their own understanding of the issue, even if they disagree. No one abandons their identity, but everyone acknowledges enough of the other people’s valid claims to then behave differently toward everyone (Harold Saunders, Public Dialogue in Practice, 2024).

What is Nansen dialogue?
The aim of this dialogue is to engage all participants, support learning and better mutual understanding, create a sense of security for honest and open conversation, and inspire others to get involved in their communities.

Host: Janusz Kaźmierczak – mediator, mediation trainer associated with the DIalogue Workshop Foundation in Toruń. Participant in public dialogue training conducted by the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue (Norway) and DEMOS Dialogues training according to the TIMEOUT Dialogue methodology (Eratauko, Finland). He teaches mediation at the Institute of Psychology and the Institute of Sociology at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. For more information, visit www.januszkazmierczak.pl.
